I have a Kawasaki FH 601V that cannot be controlled by the throttle....the rpm are too high and seem to be increasing as it runs. Adjusting the throttle has no affect. Trying to choke it down dos'nt work either.

did you check the throtle butterfly to be sureit is connected to shaft

If not throttle, the governor in the engine may be damaged. Do you get any push/pull from the governor lever?
