I have a yamaha G-12 that gets no traction, only one wheels spins, it will not go up the slightest incline

Raise the rear of the unit and turn one wheel, does the other wheel turn in the opposite direction?

If not, you have broken axle or differential problem.

yes it turns in the opposite direction, but can be stopped easily by hand.

Both rear wheels feel the same? If so, I would want to remove the drain plug or oil pan on the differential and look for metal or damage. The center section of the differential can have broken spider gears or shaf
