Single cylinder or twin cylinder?
Here is single cylinder carb. See picture # XXXXX in above link.
If the solenoid loses voltage or gets hot , it can lose grip and kill the fuel supply.
Best test is to get old style bowl bolt, and remove this solenoid and run test with it removed.

I did see your response but not the pic. This has a fuel solenoid

ok ill try it tomorrow. an i replace the solenoid with the screw or is this just for teting purposes?
You can replace it with the screw. Solenoid is there to keep engine from backfiring when the key is turned off. Nothing else.
