Hi, My name isXXXXX you for letting me try and assist you with your problem.
In the first picture you'll see the idler pulley.
That's what tensions the belt.
You need to take the spring loose so it relieves tension and the pulley can move.
The deck belt will need to be removed also/
The second picture shows the drive belt layout.
I have a lift that makes this easier but in your case maybe you might consider removing the deck and flipping the mower up on the rear wheels a so you can see what you're doing.

It is those 5 inch cables that pick the deck up and down

Those you just remove the two bolts at each end and replace them.
