I have a 1996 MTD 5 hp rear tine tiller model 410. It has been well maintained. The gear box will move it forward and backward but the tines will not engage. I took it to a repair shop locally bot they did not want to work on it even though they are a certified MTD repair shop. Need another repair shop or a repair manual. I can take it apart down to the gear box but am a little nervous about opening it without a manual> Any ideas.
Optional Information: Make: MTD Model: 216-410 Already Tried: Took it to a repair shop, they don't want to work on it.
