I have a 1040 ltx cub cadet. I threw the belt for linkage to the drive. I now have reinstalled the belt and now the brake and throttle pedals fight each other.
Optional Information: Make: ltx 1040 automatic Model: cub cadet Already Tried: reinstalled the belt it will move but it is not right.
Hello and Welcome to Just Answer,
The problem sounds like you have the belt routed incorrectly around the idlers pulleys. Check the drive belt routing around the idler pulleys that move with the pedal and verify that they are routed correctly.
It looks as if it routed correctly, but not working properly.
Can you post a picture of how you have it routed? If it was working fine prior to you changing the belt and now it does not work correctly then it is not routed correctly. Did you unhook or remove anything else?
got it, i had to reroute the belt
Thank You
