Hello, the fuel lines could be rotted or cracked and need replaced. In some cases the tank itself could be the problem.Have the fuel lines ever been replaced?

Customer replied 268 days and 15 hours ago.

Yes that is where it started they were cracked and parts missing so I didnt know what went where also a white square like filter or check valve fell off not shure where it goes

That was the fuel filter and connects to the main fuel line #8 in the bottom hole of the tank. The other is a primer return line. You need to replace the fuel lines and probably clean the carb if it won't run.I use part #530069216 from www.searspartsdirect.com.Cost approx $4.35 + shipping

The primer is on the carb and there are two nipples coming out.The main fuel line with the fuel filter attached to it connects to the lower nipple on the carb and the return line connects to the upper nipple, closest to the primer bulb.Cut fuel line on an angle and insert into tank and with a pair of hemos or needle nosed pliers pull it into tank from gas cap opening.Put fuel filter on line and it should rest on the bottom of the tank. The primer return line should be in the tank a couple inches. Before reconnecting carb remove the primer side of carbgraphic and make sure the screen is clear and no dirt clogging it.
