Ranwell1 :

hi

Ranwell1 :

What exactly is stuck.

Ranwell1 :

Do you mean that the starter rope will not pull the engine over?

Ranwell1 :

If this is the case, it is very likely that the engine is locked up and probably cannot be repaired. This is usually caused by running the engine without enough oil.

Ranwell1 :

Take the starter off of the unit.

Ranwell1 :

Then see if you can turn the engine over with your hand. By moving the flywheel.

Ranwell1 :

If you cannot turn the engine over with your hand, then it is locked up.

Ranwell1 :

If you can turn it over then we will try working with the starter.

Ranwell1 :

Check the starter (With it off) see if the starter rope is stuck between the starter pulley and the housing. It it is, you should be able to pry it back into place.

Ranwell1 :

If I have nit guessed what your problem is, let me know and we will discuss it further.
