how can i raise the handle on my honda HRR2 166VKA mower?

I have a honda self-propelled walk behind lawnmower. Is there any way to raise the handle height, maybe by remounting the handle sockets on the frame?  The model number is XXXXX 166VKA

There is no way built into the mower you can re-drill but there is not much room to do so. Often you can get away with just running the rear tires one notch higher than the front, for most lawns they still mow just fine and the angle should give you a few more inches at the handle bar. You can also use the old caveman method and simply bend them. This takes a little planning as you obviously don't want to ruin the handles but a little tweak wont hurt them. If you want to get real fancy find someone with a tubing bender (most muffler shops have them) and see if they will put a nice gentle curve in your lower handles to maintain strength and not kink them. Thats about all the tricks I know on that hope it helps.
