yardworks snow thrower tecumseh 8 1/2 hp engine;
engine started, leaned out and quit.
I've cleaned the tank and added clean fuel,same problem.
unable to locate vent for fuel tank.

When you cleaned the carb did you poke a wire through the holes in the main jet? Also,the plastic tube that goes up the center of the carb has a couple holes that can clog but more important it has 2 o rings on it that seal so you get the vacuum needed to draw the fuel up and if worn,warpped or cracked will cause running issues..I'll send some info from the service manual.
