Hello, Welcome to just answer. Thank you for your question!
I would like to ask a few leading questions first if I may.
When it does restart. Is there any back fire or flames.
Do you smell any raw fuel .
Have you checked for any spark after it shut down.
no,some fuel smell, like it runs out of fuel, has spark as best i can tell
We have seen a carb issue in the last few years on the Kawasaki engine. I just went round and round with them on the phone the other day about this. We have thrown fuel pumps, fule filters. new coils and problem not found. Kawaski says the the needle and seat, and o'ring on the main nozzle in the carb are the problem. Alcohol in fuel is attacking those items and causing the unit to flood out and shut down.
can you see anything if you open up the carb
seen any problems with fuel soleniod
The problem is you can't see the problem. That is what has baffled us. We have put on new carbs and problem solved but that carb costs $300. Let me see if I can get u a picture and or even the service bulletin from kawasaki on this. Give me a moment to search. Thanks Dan
Not sure the link is to your exact model and spec number. But you can go back and select your model and spec to see the proper picture.
