Do you have a voltmeter to check the battery? The battery should read at least 12.5 volts, then with meter still hooked up, try to start, battery should not read below 9 volts. If it does, th battery is dead. Let me know and we can go further. Thanks.

The battery is not dead, no voltage past the selinoid to the starter. selinoid posts wont tighten they are loose.

It sounds like the solenoid is bad.
