I have a John Deere X320 lawn mower and it has a bad oil leak on the rear axle.Do I remove the transmission or can the seal be remove and replaced from the out side? please email me [email protected] thx Kima brickland phone(NNN) NNN-NNNN

You should be able to change the axle seals with the transmission in place. The bad thing is that when an axle seal leaks it is a result of worn axle bushings.
