My snowblower wont start and it smells like gas what should I do?

ok, It may have a diaphragm type carb. This is a 2 cycle correct?

remove the spark plug and see if its wet with fuel. Let cylinder dry. If you notice fuel coming out around air filter you needle may be sticking. Replace spark plug and try starting again without choking the engine. Hope this helps > Let me know the outcome.
