Mixer is leaking a small amount of grease when operating. Should I put in a new gasket or seal?

Customer: Mixer is a kitchen aid stand mixer, approximately 10 years old, used very little.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your KitchenAid is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
