Re: Singer, Simple, 2263 How do I remove a thread trapped in

Customer Question

re: Singer, Simple, 2263 How do I remove a thread trapped in the mechanism behind the bobin case. The turn wheel will only turn 1/2 revolution, then stops. Using a "clock" face, the thread is at 11:00 and there is not enough sticking out to grasp. Can you help?
Thanks

Hi Laura,

My name is***** will try my best to help you with your question.

You will need to remove the bobbin case, the same way you would do so if you were cleaning and oiling behind it.

Here is a useful guide:
