Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.
One thing that can make the reservoir and/or the soap dispenser clog up, is the separation of the red gasket, that is supposed to fit around the nozzle on the bottom of the removable reservoir, and sometimes falls into the sump in the base of the 2X's floor-facing portion.
Unlatch and remove the reservoir. Look on the bottom of it - is the red gasket still present around the nozzle?
If that's not the problem, then:
- have you been using the approved cleaning solutions?
- does the soap dispenser work even temporarily? or in small quantities?
- how old is your Bissell Proheat 2X, and did it work well at first?
I hope we can find a solution readily enough for this problem.
