My machine will not make a stitch and top thread has too much tension and keeps breaking. Model xl2600i

Hi Terri,

Make sure that the needle size is correct for the material you are sewing and also for the thread you are using.

Try using a new needle, and adjust the tension.

Make sure you have the thread path correct, and that the needle is inserted fully in the correct direction.

Let me know if the problem happens with all fabrics, or just some.

Right after I put in the service request I triec again and found I had threaded the machine wrong. I requested the service call be cancelled
