The left wheel will not engage, causing the Roomba to spin

Customer Question

The left wheel will not engage, causing the Roomba to spin around in circles. Last week the Roomba did go through a spilled water dish and dried it out, but now the left wheel will not work.

Hi Bill,

Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

Do you have a voltmeter available to check if the wheel motor is receiving any voltage?

The motor will need to be tested, and if it is receiving power but not turning then it will need to be replaced.

Pete.
