Hi the issue if there is power where it is plugged in, would likely be the ceramic fuse inside. Please let me know when you are ready to work on this for safety reasons as well.

a few years old. what do you think about the table and light coming on when the door is open.

Hi David that is a sign for sure that there is a problem in the main board as well. Kinda proves it.
Its stuck due to a short circuit.
Its a very easy to replace part as well.
But it has no display?
Also if you press any of the keys what happens?
