I have an iRobot Roomba 4110. I have tried to charge the battery and when I turn it on, I get the proper power light but when I press clean, it immediatly gors to an error status light. Is this a battery failure?
Already Tried: Cleaded all rollers and filters, charged battery until the green light came on. (very fast buy the way)
I will be glad to help you with your question today. You can try to do a battery reset on your Roomba, but if that fails the battery is bad. Here are the instructions for doing a reset. Give it a try, but if it doesn't work you will need to replace the battery.Solution from iRobot - "Reset the Battery": 1) Turn Roomba over on its back 2) remove battery 3) turn Roomba back over 4) press and hold power button for 5 seconds (no lights will) 5) Turn Roomba over on its back 6) Reinstall battery 7) Allow Roomba to recharge for 16 hours uninterrupted (even if power lights indicate it's charged sooner)
