i have an excell chair lift that the remote controls will not work on...they used to work ..put in new batt ..still no...there is a remote set button ..it also has no affect....
Already Tried: new batts in the remotes...checked the sensor connectors ...all seem as they should be..the chair works with the paddle switch on the seat...there is a set button on the sensor board ..but pushing it does nothing...is there some sequence to resetting the remotes or at least testing them...i did try the video camera film trick ..did not get anything...

thank you for trying...i have solved it....this is one of those unique items that you may have a hard time finding an expert for....i had to go thru a medical supply company and thier service technitions ...who inturn called the original manufacture...who sent a service manual with instructions on "relearning" the remote controls....with all this information ....i took to working the unit again...and after all that ...i ended up finding a loose conection on the circut board....not exactaly what i was looking for .but the technitions gave me very good information on where to look and using the service manual i resolved my problem and all is working well...again thank you for trying..
