My Panasonic Microwave will not work. It is showing H97 on the panel. What does this mean. I do not have the manual and couldn't find this problem mentioned in the manual on line.Lorraine
Optional Information: Make: Panasonic Model: NN H275BF Already Tried: Checked plug, fuse breaker, pushed all buttons which light up but when start is pushed H97 comes up
The error indicates a problem with the high voltage side of the microwave. This is most likely 1 of 4 problems the only problem you could check is the magnetron (this can be tested with an ohm meter-if good it should read 1 ohm or more=good , infinity=bad magnetron)the other components I would not recommend touching unless you are experienced at repairing high voltage components. Microwaves produce dangerous amounts of voltage and can hurt or kill someone if handled improperly.I would suggest calling a local repairman to give you an estimate. I know you are looking at over $100 at least to repair it. That may give you an idea if you want to replace it or not.
