My ex husband walked out on me when I was 7 months pregnant. He lives 500 miles away in the south of england and I live with our daughter in scotland. He visited regularly till she was 6 months old, saw her once again when she was a year old and then didn't see her again until I took her down to england last year when she was 5. The meeting didn't go well. He is now asking for unsupervised access, suggesting I let him take ouR daughter down to england or let her board a plane, so that he can have her there with him and his family. Can I demand supervised visits?

Thank you for your question. It is not in your daughters best interests that she have to travel 500 miles to see a father and family she doesn't know.If he seeks contact he would have to go to the sheriff court in Scotland. The most the court would order would be supervised contact in Scotland until she is older.I hope this helps. Please leave a positive response so that I am credited for my time.
