My mother in law died in 2003 and my father in law sold the property they lived in. Mother in law did not leave a will. Their property was sold for £315, 000. My husband is their only child. Did he have any rights to inherit any part of her estate? If he had any rights can he make a claim on the property my father in law now lives in? What action if any can he take?
