Province/Country relating to question : glasgow scotland
nothing else I can do as place is closed for the night.
Thank you for your question. You can't get the vehicle released until you produce a tax disc and pay a release fee of £100. You will have to deal with this as soon as you can get a tax disc which will not be today. You will have to go to DVLA in Glasgow first thing with your documents, get a tax disc and then take it to the pound and pay the release fee as well. Alternatively if you can't get a tax disc immediately you can pay a surety pending your getting one.See the rules here:http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/OwningAVehicle/UntaxedVehicle/DG_4022072I hope this helps.
