car was clamped because of no road tax ,,,,went to place that clamped it and was closed for the night. dvla clamped it. where do I stand as the people who clamped it are closed for the night please? ,,, nanette

Thank you for your question.You can't get the vehicle released until you produce a tax disc and pay a release fee of £100. You will have to deal with this as soon as you can get a tax disc which will not be today. You will have to go to DVLA in Glasgow first thing with your documents, get a tax disc and then take it to the pound and pay the release fee as well.
