Is it a valve cover oil leak or exhaust intake gasket, car cut off and lots of smoke coming from under hood and oil squirting from exhaust manifold around tighten bolts and nuts. rough idle and hesitation.

Hi Im David, first of all you need to replace the valve cover gasket, the cam seal and the intake manifold gasket. you also need to pull the pcv valve out and unclog the ccv system and replace the valve. see how it runs after doing all of that. is the check engine light on also?

I have a 1994 twin cam 16v Saturn I loosen the torque bolts on the vavle cover but I still can't get the cover off. I can't seem to understand how to procced if I get the bolts loose near wear the belt spins will the engine drop.

remove the serpentine belt if its in the way.

put a floor jack with a piece of wood on it and support the engine under the oil pan. just enough to take any pressure off.
