Hi Im David. thanks for visiting the site. may i ask why the battery terminal were disconnected in the first place?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
I had a service light and had an associate at AutoZone use a code scanner to find out why it was illuminating. He told me that it was the fuel cap so I replaced it but the service light did not go out. So l disconnected the teminal in an attempt to allow the computer to reset to get a fresh reading thinking this would help, wrong answer.

Expert:  david craig replied 9 months ago.

just checking in to see how its going

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
Problem solved, it turned out to be my throttle housing plate was sticking. I cleaned it out with some throttle cleaner and the computer was able to get a good reading and relearn car the idle. It came right back up in about a minute. Anyway, that was my problem...a sticky throttles plate that just needed to be cleaned.
