My saturn sky 2007 redline convertible has the rear window

Customer Question

My saturn sky 2007 redline convertible has the rear window detached from the convertible top. Nothing hit or pushed against it ...It came free from the rim around the exposed smooth plastic outer surface...Was it applied by heat or what...how can I re-attach it...it is attached at the side edges where the sensor cable is located for defrost...the top and bottom are completely free from attachment. This conv top was replaced due to bad factory fitting within the first 8 months of ownership by the dealer...no problems with anything since till now...

This is what Saturn states:

The rear window is bonded to the folding top.

The window can not be replaced separately from the top.

If the folding top window defogger grid lines or buss bars are faulty the folding top must be replaced as an assembly.

The top must be replaced.
There is NO Repair Instructions for the Rear Window Glass
You may want to contact a Convertible Top Shop "locally" to see if they can reinstall without replacing the Top.
I am sure there are Body Shops that have connections that can do this
