Hello...welcome and thank you for using Justanswer.
Why ,did you add Freon to your AC system ?
Is the compressor cycling ,ON and OFF ,when the gage go up and down ?
Was it blowing any cold ,before you charged it ?
Does the radiator/condenser fan come on with AC ON ?
Let me know.
Thank you.

I thought it needed some. It seems like the compressor goes on an off when the guage goes up and down because i can hear a clicking sound. Yes everything was working properly and blowing cold air before recharging. The radiator fan turns on more frequently when the AC is on.

The refrigerant can that I bought comes with the hose and gauge, and before I started adding the gauge was reading 25psi.

OK, you need to add Freon until the compressor stops cycling and the pressure should be around 40 to 45 psi with compressor working steady.
Is it blowing cold?
If you can not get this reading ,you may have to use a dual gage to monitor low and high pressures and see what is going on.
Let me know.
Thank you.
