Hi, my name is XX. XXX I will help youon this.
Is the check engine light on ? Have you got access to a scanner that you can read data with?
Yes code 300. If you can get it into gear without stalling it has lack of power
Ok, 300 is random misfire. These cars are known for the intake gasket leaking. have you got a can of carb cleaner or trottle bodt cleaner?
Are all these new parts trying to fix it or has it just started this?
yes. I also replaced the intake manifol gasket. The new plugs are aready black souty looking from only running it three minutes
have
Yes tring to find the problem of running rough and rich.
Have you checked the fuel pressure and made sure the map sensor has good vacuum
This sure is a troublesome one. Compression test was 150PSI across the board. Also tried a coil pack.
The computer uses the map to control fuel delivery and if it has a cracked vacuum hose it will deliver too much fuel because the computer reads it as a heavy load
Do yo have access to a scanner to read the datastream?
I replaced the map sensor put didn't check for vacuum when it was out. I could check fuel pressure but is isn't starving. The map sensor pluged directly into manifold below carb, no hoses.
Yes I have a snap-on 2500 scanner
No, it is not starving for fuel it is too much fuel . What are the short and long term readings

Hello and thank you for your post. I am a master certified GM tech. If I can help you solve this today then I will, lets begincan you look at the order the ignition wires are in at the coil?they should be 4-1-2-3 left to right...NOT 1-4-2-3if 1 and 4 are reversed it will run really bad, stall and hesitate check that and let me know how you make out
