Hello and thank you for trusting me with your question. My name is XXXXX XXXXX X will do my best to help you with your Saturn problem.

Once the vehicle cools down, do the gauges start to operate again? Which gauges are inoperative?

Customer replied319 days and 6 hours ago.

Do not know if gages will operate once cooled. All dash gages failed.

Customer replied319 days and 6 hours ago.

Do you recommend taking it to a Chevy dealer authorized for Saturn service?

Normally a failure of this nature requires replacement of the dash gauge cluster. Make sure the warning lights work when the key is turned on. If they do then the cluster is getting power. A dealer will typically charge around $500 for this type of repair. There are some companies that can repair your cluster for around $125 if you are willing to pull it out yourself. Module Master is one such company.

Thanks for your answer. After cool down in the garage, gages and warning lights work when ignition turned on. Is there still an issue likely to repeat or what?

It will likely repeat when temperatures get high again. If you do decide to go to the dealer for repairs, your local Chevrolet dealer should be a good choice, the technicians there should be trained on Saturn as well.
