In Oct 2010 I purchased a 2002 sat. Vue from CarMax. In Jan 2011 I started having issues. Reduced power light, check engine, service engine soon. Took it to a local Shop and they replaced the Throttle Body assembly for a song. Started to have more power issues. Replaced the battery, alternator, water pump. There was a coolant leak, and I was done fixing the car myself. Took it to the same folks who did the throttle body. Fixed the coolant leak, but the same lack of power was still present. I was told I needed to replace the transmission at 4k. I took it to a new mechanic, replaced timing belt, front hubs and got a new key for the ignition and it was working grand until 2 weeks later the same problems popped up. Sluggish response to trying to accelerate, and it's so bad I have to put the car into cruise control and foce it to speed by holding down cruise control's accelerate Button. The mechanic I took it to had closed shop and I was recommended to a new mechanic. I was told that there is a sensor problem and that I needed to go to a dealer and have them fix something witht he computer, an update or a reboot/reinstall. So I took it to the local dealer.Who now says I need to replace the Throttle body. they will not even do anything with the on board computer. I'm at my wits end. I need this car and I'm frustrated at having spent so much on repairs. What's your take?

I do brb gonna go grab it
What size engine do you have?
I believe it is a 3 liter v 6
The definition for this code is "Minimum Throttle Position Not Learned".This is just a throttle body relearn procedure. It just needs to be relearned using the factory GM scanner. This code will cause your problems I would have this done at the dealership. Chances are this will take care of your issue.
Okay my car is at the dealer here in town and they are basically refusing to do that. is there any way to fax this answer to me with some sort of direct from Saturn heading on it that I can take in?
You can print this out and show them my answer. You can also show them my credentials. You can do this without using a scanner. Here is the idle relearn procedure. Be sure that: • The vehicle speed is 0 mph. • The accelerator pedal angle is less than 14.9 percent. • The battery voltage is more than 10 volts. • The Engine Coolant Temperature is between 41-212°F. • The Intake Air Temperature is more than 41°F. If this checks out ok, then do the sequence as follows. A. Turn OFF the ignition for 30 seconds. B. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF for 60 seconds. C. Turn OFF the ignition. This should relearn the idle and throttle body settings. These throttle body's are very picky and need to have all of the conditions correct in order for this to work.IF this does not help, have then check the wiring and the connector at the throttle actuator connector. I am glad I could help! Please don't forget to rate my answer so I get credit for assisting you today. Please take a moment to get familiar with our new rating system.
