my 2004 saturn ion electric door locks have just failed. The door lock buttons will still chime but the locks no longer work. Also shifting into drive doesn't automaticly lock the doors, nor putting it in park unlock the doors.
Optional Information: Year : 2004 Make : Saturn Model : ion, 4 door Engine : 2.2 Already Tried: have checked all the interior fuzes. there ok. i beleive it's a relay of some sort, but cant locate it.
Typically it is the BCMYou can test the Lock, by finding the WHITE wire at the Door Switch or the BCM (PIN33)
Breifly Ground - the WHITE wire to <LockIf No Lock, then the BCM is bad & should be tested via Dealer Scan Toolapprx 1 hour labor
