hi,

Ok, this one is a bit of a pain. due to its placement you will need to lift and support the intake manifold a few inches in order to gain access to remove and replace the thermostat:

  • Drain coolant.

  • Lift and support intake manifold
  • Disconnect radiator hose from coolant pipe.

  • Remove coolant pipe/engine lift bracket bolt.

  • Rotate oil level indicator and tube away from pipe.

  • Remove thermostat extension pipe.

  • Remove and discard O-ring seals.

  • Remove bolts.

  • Tilt the rear of the thermostat housing upward
  • Lift out the housing.
  • Remove and discard O-ring seal.
