Yes. There is not a dipstick.


Can a dipstick assy be ordered or a special tool ordered to check the transmission level ?

No special tool needed and there is no provision for a dipstick. The picture below shows the transmission as viewed from the passenger side. There is a plug at #65 in the picture below. (11 mm or 7/16" wrench). Remove this plug with the engine running and the transmission in Park. Transmission fluid should dribble from the hole with the plug removed if the level is full.
