My 2000LS Saturn sedan will not start. When you turn the ignition key absolutely no sound, no nothing. The battery is charged with lights etc. What could be the cause?Jim
Optional Information: Year : 2000 Make : Saturn Model : Ls1 Engine : 4 cy Already Tried: Jump start with no difference, still no sound when I turn the key.

This could be a faulty starter,circuit from starter to the ignition switch or ignition switch.Use a 12 volt test lamp at the starter (small wire to the side of large cable) & have someone to turn the switch to start .The test light should light up.If not there is no signal.If it does replace the starter.make sure all cables are clean & tight.
