2006 Saturn Vue: Warning Light stays..a malfunctioning airbag module

Resolved Question:

I have a 2006 Saturn Vue. The Airbag Service Warning Light stays on. I have had the problem diagnosed by Saturn, and they say that I have a malfunctioning airbag module that needs to be replaced at a cost of nearly $800. Meanwhile, I have found that the indicator functions perfectly when both seat warmers are turned on, so I believe that the problem is a short circuit in the passenger seat. Any suggestions?

Hello JAGUEST, it is more common for the passenger seat occupancy sensor to cause this then the module. More than likely this sensor will need to be replaced. Do you know the computer codes that the vehicle was giving?
