  • Drain coolant.graphic
  • Lift and support intake manifoldgraphic
  • Disconnect radiator hose from coolant pipe.
  • Remove coolant pipe/engine lift bracket bolt.
  • Rotate oil level indicator and tube away from pipe.graphic
  • Remove thermostat extension pipe.

  • Remove and discard O-ring seals.graphic
  • Remove thermostat with housing:

    1.Remove bolts.
    2.Tilt the rear of the thermostat housing upward.
    3.Lift out the housing.
    4.Remove and discard O-ring seal.
