Do I need to replace the timing belt
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I was quoted a price of $600 -- does this seem reasonable
Expert:  Kevin replied 6 months ago.

Hi im kevin quote sounds reasonable the belt isnt due till 105k on my system but the belts do perish over time i would recommend replacement for peace of mind

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
The dealer claims the car is over 8 years old, and hence it needs changing
Expert:  Kevin replied 6 months ago.

Id agree with that most cars give a milage and a time basis for change but on yours my info only shows milage .i would recomment replacement as belt will have perished
