No thanks texting will be fine as It will go into Saab mechanic in this area tomorrow,I'm just worried cause I have to make short runs to store and farther tomorrow to drop it off...
Customer: replied 4 months ago.
The mileage is 117,00 miles. And no I haven't checked the plugs,it's overdue for servicing due to the Saab recommended mileage check up...
Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 4 months ago.

well it will be okay ,t it looks like it is running rich from what you are describing , most likely needs a tune up, if no check engine light is on the dash on or flashing you will be okay

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 4 months ago.

yes , change fuel filter , spark p[lugs and cabin air filters and a transmission service at this mileage , Thats what i do for the saab 's at my shop at this mileage

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
No,during the rough running before the puff of blue smoke the check engine light went on and off then I put it in neutral revved the engine a tad and I was down the road again, all this within a 3 mile distance.
Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 4 months ago.

I have one good key, when I bought this thing about 6 mos. ago, the other key fell apart and the locking system is no good due to 2 bad door lock motors...other than that she ran great up until now...
Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 4 months ago.

you will be fine till tomorrow, if you feel it want to bog down when you give it gas , just back off the throttle a little

Trust me on this make another one while you have one left , because if you loose it , it will cost $1500 to make another one with out any available , you have to replace the computer and bunch other things to get key made

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 4 months ago.

when u take it in now , the spare key , at least here in south carolina , at dealer will cost $180 , if you just adding a key and already have one foor the car

if not and you lost all of them , then its $1500 or more depends on dealer ,I worked on saab for years .I owned one for 5 year other than being a tech on them

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
