Customer Question

my 2010 9-3 Aero XWD 6 speed manual is jumping in the rear end especially when pulling out and turning. It feels like riding on very rough road. My local Saab service said this is inherent to the XWD.

Greetings JACUSTOMER, Dealer is correct in saying this is a common problem on XWD Saabs. But it can be improved with a limited slip additive being introduced to the trans/diff fluid. BG has a flush system and special oil w/ additive that carries a superb warranty and costs about $299 complete. Just used it on a vehicle with same problem and it cured it 95%...If I can assist further please let me know...jeffrey590

Can you provide more specific information that I can take to my dealer service department?

Hello Again JACUSTOMER, Have dealer use BG products Flush System which includes upgraded oil which includes additive...Thats as specific as I can be...This will cure your problem in regard to chattering and jumping in rear on turns and while turning...Specially designed for this problem...jeffrey590

Thank you for the additional information. I didn't know you replied until you sent the email.

I plan on paying for your time, but I would like to be a satisfied customer and leave the best possible feedback rating.

I'd like to know which BG product should be used to perform the flush. The web-site lists several for this type of performance.

My 2010 is not covered by a warranty. I have a local transmission repair shop that I've done business with previously and I trust their work.

The dealership said they could not get the proper gear oil. They mentioned it is $80/liter. I'm counting on the BG products to be substantially less expensive. Would I benefit from a flush of the transmission gear box?

I appreciate your time and look forward to your response.

Hello again JACUSTOMER, Have the shop use the BG Trans/Driveline Flush Machine to perform the sytem flush(s). Use the BG universal Synthetic ATF for the transmission (about 1/4 of the price) and add LS2 and ATC Plus to the driveline components. This service comes with a extended warranty as well so be sure to fill out necessary paperwork from repair facility ...Thanks...jeffrey590
