I HAVE A 454 ENGINE. I PUT A NEW ALTERNATER IN BUT THAT DIDN'T HELP. WOULD A VOLTAGE REGALATER BE THE PROBLEM

Customer: IT IS A 1987 ROCKWOOD MOTOR HOME WITH 26000 MILES ON IT
JA: What is the model of your '87 RV?
Customer: IT IS A 38 FOOT MOTOR HOME WITH A 454 CEVROLET MOTOR
JA: Are you fixing your RV yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I HAD IT REWIRED AND THAT WORKS FINE IT HAS COUCH ELECTRIC AND A DIFFERENT SYSTEM FOR THE ENGINE

Regulator is built into the Alternator

your losing power to Sense wire on the alternator

it comes from the IGN switch, check for voltage at the plug wit 2 small wires
