Hi my name is Robert...

Can you double check that model number? IF it was a direct ignition you would have a switch inside and that is normally on the monitor panel, in the hallway or bathroom, if it is a pilot model you will have no switch and have to start it from outside. Click HERE and have a look, this manual covers both styles you should be able to tell. Normally if the model number ends in a E it is direct ignition and you should have a switch......
