Have RV Questions? Ask an RV Mechanic Online.
Hi! My name is ***** ***** I can assist you with this. I may need some additional information from you first in order to give a complete answer.
Sorry for the delay in someone getting to your question. I was off yesterday and perhaps others were as well due to the bad storms in the Northwest where some of us live. Why do you need to replace the whole tank? If you have a bad valve you can have it repaired or are you looking to get a different size tank?
Leaking at one of the valves or in the tank proper? If in the tank proper, you can buy a replacement tank. They come in a number of sizes and you just unbolt yours and disconnect the supply line and hook it up again. I am attaching a link to one site for you, but many places sell these and the price varies so shop around. Hope this proves helpful here. Please get back to me if you need more as all follow ups are included in our fee.https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/lp-gas/rv-propane-tank.htm
Did you read my last response or go to the link I provided?
It should only take about an hour to change out......maybe less. So it would depend in the labor rate they have.
If you are even somewhat handy with tools, this isn't hard.
Just getting back to you to see if you were able to get what you needed here or do you still need some additional input?
