Hi my name is Robert...

What power source did you plug into? Did you plug into a 220 outlet like a dryer or welder outlet or are you using an adapter going into a household outlet?

I want to make sure you did not plug into 220 direct as that can damage the RV... Do you have a 30 or 50 amp cord? A 50 amp service would be two hot legs of 110 coming into the RV, not 220 direct..... a 30 amp service would be one hot leg of 110 volt. IF it is not a 110 outlet you are using then most other household outlets will be 220 volt. Dryer outlet etc....
