I have a Winnibago Adventurer with a Onan Marquis Gold 5500

Customer Question

I have a Winnibago Adventurer with a Onan Marquis Gold 5500 generator. Just tried to run it and starter does not engage. It does clatter. Currently hooked up to 20 amp outlet. Has always started fron this hook up before. Any suggestions?

A continuous rapid clicking while pressing the start button is a sign of not enough voltage getting tot he starter solenoid.

This is usually due to bad batteries, but can be from the batteries being turned off, bad cable connections, or in rare cases, a burnt starter.
