Customer Question

I have brakes that wont release, they heat up going down the road, now the pedal goes to the floor and I can feel the abs pushing back in the pedal, going to replace master cylinder tomorrow, this is on a 1999 chevy chasis
JA: Have you tried cleaning and oiling the brake pedal's pivot under the dash?
Customer: yes they move freely
JA: What is the model of your '99 RV?
Customer: it is a 1999 damon challenger chevrolet chasis, been sitting for about 6 years
JA: Are you fixing your Challenger yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I am changing out the master cylinder tomorrow, the brakes kind of pop when they release but get hot driving down the road
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: front and rear brakes both seem to not be releasing
