dash air blows cold while driving the freeway and stop and blows hot until you get going again and it takes 20 to 30 minutes to get cold
JA: Have you checked the coolant level? Have you checked for a leak in the radiator?
Customer: yes no leaks
JA: What is the model/year of your RV?
Customer: 2003 workhorse 8.1 itasca sunrise class a
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: had the system vac and refilled no leaks and not low on freon had different people work on it and not fixed
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: the radiator condenser and look like a trans cooler with a double electric fans in front not sure if the fans are pushing the right amount of air to cool the condenser

I will help you with this

what you are describing is a common issue

the fans are not coming on soon enough to cool condenser down

to kick Compressor back in, cause of this is the cooling fans sensors

bring it to a Truck repair shop, not a RV dealer, they are rip offs and guess

ask them to replace the high pressure sensors, coolant fan sensors

I did not mean to put down RV shops, but all to offten

I had customers come to our shop, saying they spent several hundreds to Thousands

to no avail , no repair , they are RV repair, toilet , stove, shower and so on

not engine or trans
