We have a 2001 Winnebago Journey DL. The lower left corner

Customer Question

We have a 2001 Winnebago Journey DL. The lower left corner of the rear slideout is going out further than the other 3 corners. Would we need a Synchronizing Cylinder.
JA: What is the model of your '01 RV?
Customer: WKP36DL
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: We managed to get it back in ..took 4 hours. We have not attempted anything else. We were told it could be the cylinder
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: The slide out came out about two inches on its own. Bob pushed the switch and it went back in. This was before and after we had the major problem.

We will have to look tonight

If this is a hydraulic slide then chances are good that the racking valve is the issue. If this is an electrical slide then the racking gears may be out of sync. or if this has a Lippert Schwintek system it may be the motors are out of sync. Let me know what you find.
